I wonder what you kids think of establishing a long stock position on BBBY. Decent enough fundamentals. Tend to gap, usually down, on earnings then cover the gap by the next earnings. Reported earnings a few days ago, gapped down and have begun to recover. So, whatcha think?

I BOT 100 shares of IDCC about a month ago as a speculative trade. When it went down $1 a share I got out.

I think you will find you need to go out farther than that to get any kind of decent premium. Of course, if you REALLY want to own the stock and just want to buy down your cost a bit, then 2-3 weeks might not be a bad timeframe.

I took my own loss today. A Nov SPY put that just wasn't going to work. Now that I have made the move to exit the trade the market will probably crash. I too entered and exited the trade without consulting our forum tool, diaoptions.
