Hi guys I am seeking your opinions on how to plan for worst scenario in regards to losses. Say I backtested my system and the worst drawdown during that period was -$1000 (per quarter). Assuming my testing to be correct and results valid, what kind of drawdown should I plan for when actually...

some people prefer seclusion...not everyone is the same.

I hope you are right as I am in a long position and my stop is coming up real fast...but so far looks like a trend day.

look i didnt meant to be a dick about it...but i really wanna emphasise that for a first year newbie, you should be aiming to not lose any money. most people who come into this business are overly optimistic and dont think seriously about what could go wrong.

at the highest point he was like 25% up on his account within 2 weeks of starting...so high volality is to be expected in his P/L curve...most likely overleveraged

As someone who regularly exposes himself (no, not that way) to today's youth, I find a big problem is that their parents have given them everything they've wanted...a nice house, free fast chauffeur service, excess food, vacations, even a car when they turn 16...well it's human nature...

Look guys, i_c_fed is clearly a genius. Instead of giving him adv...uh i mean cirticising him, we should be honoured and humbled by his presence. The guy obviously is no less than a divine oracle who knows the market will keep going up forever. Why else would he not use stops? Because he KNOWS!
