The dax is a scarey one because it is not always as tight a spread as the estoxx. So you think you are up a couple points then suddenly all the bids fall away and you are down 10 ! Usually these are fake outs and it will come right back, but it is scary nevertheless.

the final straw for me was esignal not working on my pc at all. As a result I have signed up for Mytrack with Sierracharts. With Eurex, where Esignal was spot on some times but lagged terribly when the markets were busy, it seems that mytrack is consistently around 1 second behind...

SPY, DIA or QQQ ought to do the trick for you. Dont need a futures vehicle to do this.

Jay no didnt work. still No DM. Restarted after every procedure and now have a machine without anything norton and a non-working esignal. great! I even performed a "registry clean" to get rid of any reference to any Esignal or norton program b4 reinstalling. What do I do now? :mad:

Anyone else have this problem (and hopefully resolved it :) ) today: Datamanager comes up OK and so does Esignal, with historic charts and everything. However no real time data is getting received and you get "NO DM" in the bottom right hand status corner. I have been around the houses...

And another thing. $SPX, COMPQ and INDU appear to be between 2 and 20 seconds behind the quote screen on Bloomberg TV right now. By the way the reason why I post here and not on the esignal forum is: 1. You generally get a quicker response than other methods. E.g. I emailed you a while...

I thought they had their own feed now. However it is still slow when it counts (compared to my Jtrader feed) - in a fast market. And this is BEFORE the US market is open, which seems to be their catch-all excuse for this problem. :mad:

is definately better for me. more trades always leads to losses. but then I guess it is different for everyone. I equate it to my golf swing. I know that I am more likely to hit it straight if I aim left !

Anyone know of something I can get which will make my computer sound an alarm when a major cross spot rate gets to a predefined level. With esignal this looks like $50-60/mo extra. So anything less than that is what I am looking for. Thanks
