I know and experienced that first hand. I know and experienced as well, that the upside is much bigger than the drawdowns. It's for a reason that IB doesn't allow to short the new Futures.
And I also know that the year 2020/21 will be huge (just as huge as 2016/2017, which I knew in 2013 would...
It might be a nice short-term trade if you sold just now (at near top ATH: $16500), with a "normal" leg down to $14500 (first resistance).
{but you are roosted if ATH gets broken.... which I don't expect yet}
indeed and that would mean growing to a marketCap of trillions, so that it's a drop in the ocean when someone sells a few million to buy a new house.
And that's just what we all are doing now: not spending as a currency but hodling and growing fast to a trillions Cap. You will see how stable...
I agree it would be a real wonder if the very first version immediately worked as intended. It will have children's diseases and updates in code, just as the very first satoshi code is updated many times to the Bitcoin version we have now.
Anyway the road to go to solve any scaling problem and...
Well, that was actually an old video of years ago. Andreas has made many many more and when watching all in chronological order you see his stance is developing as well by the booming developers world.
I see lab work in alts, but most innovation is still done around Bitcoin itself (side-chains...
2011 Silver, is still the same metal as it is now. No added features.

Litecoin follows, or in Segwit's case even leads, Bitcoin developments. So it will going to use Lightning-network (layer 2) innovations as well.
Bcash cannot as it has no Segwit.
At the beginning of 2017, I had still all the coins from 2013. And wanted to keep them till 2020 at least (with a target of $5000 or so). But hell.... this year went crazy.... $5000 was reached in September... So yes I took some profit at 5000, 7000, 10000 and 12500... and bought a nice house...
That could only happen if Bitcoin price rises above $10 million a coin. Not likely!
Any intelligent person knows that $$$ laundry dwarfs B.
How is that so if you believe point-1 above?
Sure: close the Internet down, and not only in the USA, but the whole world?
I just looked it up. I exchanged some Bcash at 0.07, 0.08, 0.12, 0.18, 0.20, 0.22, 0.17, 0,15. On average around 0.14 BTC ($1900), while it CURRENTLY is standing on 0.0933 ($1306).
So YES, a good deal.
