    The ACD Method

Gc is by far my most successful product I have traded. I find it is the most predictable especially with my ACD tools I'm using now. I'm just a 1 contract guy though so maybe it is no good for bigger accounts. I actually find cl to be the worst despite its volatility.

    The ACD Method

I have found some meaningful correlations but you need to filter for certain situations or create NL derivatives. I found 0 correlation between 5 day or 30 day NL and various future returns in general. I'm away from the computer for a while so don't have my analysis handy but I would look...

That eur/USD short is looking good.

    The ACD Method

Looks like gold is making the c-up which ruins the NL for tomorrow, so out at a small profit.

    The ACD Method

Well there is a reason I don't trade anything but gold right now. I was just tracking NLs on currency futures and assumed that the spot crosses trade how you would expect them to based on the involved futures. I made a paper trade yesterday in a spot cross and figured out that my assumption...

    The ACD Method

After teaching Africans to count and tell time, just so you can teach them to run operations etc, teaching a college educated American to follow a little checklist is pretty easy. :)

For management, my wife has received instruction on how to run the ACD code and if the trade survives until I leave town shortly, she will close it when my fast derivative goes positive.

I like a gold short here at 1255 with a 2.5 pt stop and a time stop of weak price action this NY session.

    The ACD Method

I am still watching it for a short but it is showing strength short term(obviously). Either way I'll miss it if it triggers. Work is interfering with trading again. :)

USD/JPY is looking pretty good around the weekly A down right now.

    The ACD Method

I wasn't tracking CAD but just plugged it in. I have it weakening but not nearly as weak as USD on all NLs.

AUD selling off, gold up. But right now gold is faltering at weekly and monthly A up. If it rolls over AUD should pick up speed. So when you guys are looking at a lot of stuff, how do you hone in on which ones to actually trade? 30 day?

    Trading Gold (Metal, ETFs, Futures)

The best information I have found on precious metals is on google scholar. Look for studies on the bullion market there is some really good stuff out there on the structure of the market and what drives price.

That's kind of how my spreadsheet is starting to look lol.

    The ACD Method

Short USD/JPY is looking pretty good especially if Nasdaq can falter. That's my attempt at intermarket analysis for the day. :) Edit: To take it a step further, I see bonds and yen strengthening, gold, AUD and USD weakening. SP and Dow are already failing and Nasdaq is hanging in there. So...

Interesting. There are a lot of ways to use the scores. I'll have to play with those ideas.

    The ACD Method

I like that we can all have our interpretation of ACD and hopefully still all make money. I'm definitely fine tuning my parameters to be more oriented to swing trading so that would explain the differences. My 5 day on dollar went positive on 3/28 but my 30 day is pretty flat. I realized I...

Also I have 30 yr going positive but don't trade that yet.

    The ACD Method

I don't track euro yet because I am slow expanding beyond gold, with things I think I understand pretty well. But I am tracking dollar. I'm not sure on your time frame but on my 30 day, 10 day, and really fast derivative I have dollar shifting negative right now. I'm also liking a palladium...

    The ACD Method

Something I have come to understand is that it helps to look at it from the point of view of people that manage OPM. IE They need to be in equities when equities are going up or they will underperform and lose business. So that trade gets crowded like this years bull run. The number lines can...
