You can still run IB TWS 4.0 standalone version. If you want to run browser version then use netscape (instead of IE 6.0).

Do you have Sun JRE installed ? Have a look at Settings / Control Panel / JavaPlugin-Control-Panel / Browser. Uncheck "Microsoft IE" and try again (using IE 6.0). Now your systems runs MS Java (100% crap) instead of "100% Pure Java".

You cannot automate futures trading with TS6. They use a webbased order entry for futures trading.
