At least some of this arises from the fact that there is a general confusion about trading journals and trading logs. Trading journals are about the journey (journal? journey?) and whoever begins and maintains the journal in public does so in the hope that interested observers will make helpful...

I agree. But constructive criticism must also be informed. Otherwise it's just rationalized trolling.

As for the first point, who'd want to read it? There are more than one journal that consist of the journalist talking to himself. No reason not to let them be. As for the second, I can't imagine why a sponsor would intrude on a thread where he's not wanted. I should think they have better...

It was a joke due to the request for wanting to see a picture of the bear, but if you want to put me on Ignore, that's fine. A great many posts would never have had to be made if you and your friend had done so long ago.

Which is indicative of just the sort of obsessive behavior that moderation is supposed to curb. This is a trading forum, not Ding Dong School.
