NQ and ES moves look like bonds, and you can't manage risks during Asia trading hours. I don't think IB let US citizens trade on Osaka or Simex.

I'm in for 7 (10840 avg) on CME. It bounced off 10790 nicely which also happens to be around 200d MA. Asia got oversold and it helps that the U.S. markets didn't tank hard today.

SSF: What would it take for single stock

I'm tempted on the CSCO ssf with its earnings coming out tomorrow and Naz somewhat oversold. I'd like to see this market take off like ETFs and E minis.

Cutten, N225 looks to be up on Simex at 10885. How many contracts are you long?

    Research sharing

There're some really good research out there on stocks, currencies, and commodities. I prefer independent or buyside research which can run 5-60K/yr. Is it possible to set up a p2p system for independent traders to trade/share their research? Would it be legal? I guess it would be a free file...

    True Legendary Trading Stories

This guy and his family came to the U.S. as immigrants in early 1980's with little English and wealth. In my school, he would learn that, by maxing his student loans & credit cards to trade, he would be able to afford certain living expenses which included a nice DC suburb condo and a bimmer...

Illegal Short Sale Debacle - HELP!!

Their compliance officer should be able to explain the mistake to the exchange and bust the trade the next day before it settles. These types of mistakes happen. A few years ago, a Bear Stearns trader sat on a keyboard by mistake and sold like 600M worth of bonds.

SSF: What would it take for single stock

..futures to take off? The bid/ask size looks pretty good but the spread is about 0.5% on the INTCs and CSCOs. I see nice potential with the high volatility and decent margin (20% of underlying overnight and 10% intraday) but volume on NQLX and ONE looks pretty dead.

Which liquid markets have the most intraday volatility?

I don't have any stats on this but I would guess U.S./Asian equity index futures, agricultural commodities, and options on SPX/OEX/large techs would rank up there. I'm just looking for potential new markets to daytrade especially Forex.

    HK Index, HSI, anyone interested?

.. with HSI or NKD? I find it hard for couple reasons: 1. Liquidity is tradeable but usually below average. 2. U.S. nightime trading's not available when intraday volatility in cash market is HUGE. I was up and down 4K last night and lucky to break even this morning. 3...
