    CL Redux

Just wonder why it took you so long to cover the positions. There is already enough profit in it and the market has been up for this long..... When you are against the trend, you should be quick and fast.... The same markets happened 3 days in a row, high pre-market, low at open, then...

So Fidelity is still the best brokers for ETF? 65 IShare ETFs, that is most we'll need. Wish they offered leveraged ETFs commissions free.

    johnny_utah's daily journal

Just wonder how much you pay with each trade. For an acct this small, and only 100 shares, commissions can eat into your returns. I do not know how much time you spend each day on trading. Is $40 profit worth the time? You need more capital. What is your total return thus far? Since...

Why I Do Not See IB NDX Quotes?

I have the IB with its standard data feed. I trade NDX (large NASDAQ 100) at CME and Globex, but the quotes are missing. Do I need to pay fees to get the NDX quotes?

When you make performance presentation for investors, you just show them your monthly returns, largest draw-downs, % of winners and losers, etc.... They want to know your summary profit and the risk you take..

Who Else Offers Some Free ETF Trading?

    Shorting Leveraged ETFs

Most of the leveraged ETFs have the opposite leveraged ETF, such as TQQQ vs. SQQQ, etc. I never find the need to short any ETF.

Is eSignal Good for Commodity Trading?

I have never used eSignal, so I do not have opinion of it. But I did use its sister platform, the FutureSource Workstation. Is eSignal only good for stocks? I'm not sure if eSignal has most of the capabilities of the FutureSource, on the technical analysis side. Any thoughts?

    Good Book Recommendations Please

Most of the publications are proprietary based on subscription. A very good source was united-energy.com, but I think they somehow out of business. That website is gone and I do not know what they do now. Oil trading is a combination of technical trading and seasonality. There are tons of...

    CL Redux

CL is torn between the strong dollar and strong stock index and strong gold. The up trend should stays. It should go back to $97, even higher and test $100 before summer.

    Trader P/L 2013

Almost on one can be positive everyday. That is not what "consistent" means. All traders have draw-downs, even several days in a row. To be consistent, you need to show that you stick with your plan (money management) and control your position, loss limit. And make positive profit on a...
