A lot of trend traders with tight stops got whipsawed that's all. I can see how it might happen. One friend of mine traded NQ today and had 5 losing (stopped out) trades in a row. Obviously, if you are counter trend trader then today is your day! :)

Wrote YHOO June 37.50 Calls at $0.75. Will set the profit target at 0.6 and will complete the strangle with June 32.50 puts if target is not reached.

Wrote LLTC June 37.50 calls @ $1.00. Will set my profit target at $0.75. If not hit will complete the strangle with June 35 puts.

We had enormous amount of problems with their platform and API 2 years ago. It made us switch from RediPlus to IB. The main problem IMO is that they do not show you your Average Cost on the position you held over night. Generally it sucks.

Most of my sentiment gauges are in "NEUTRAL" now. I'm sitting on the fence with a very light short position (a few hundreds calls on 10 - 12 stocks). IV is dropping which is good for me.

I don't pay attention to the words one uses. My "expectations" are very similar. But I'm going to write a lot of calls in a process too. So far I have collected $7 in premiums. We shall see :cool:

As you can see the reversal call was right again except it did not take us too far :) So, in terms of timing my sentiment gauges are usually correct, but in terms of magnitude they still need to be improved. Cheers.
