    Question about C.F.A.

Would prop trading qualify as 'relevant work experience'? Would trading an individual account full time for 3 years count? Anyone? Thank you

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Equities Journal II

Thanks for the examples spooz. So, where is the entry for the short trade? In both examples do you try to short as high on the FFT as possible? Or, wait for the BO to close below the major channel? Or, wait for a surge in volume? Is it necessary to wait for pt 3 to be defined before...

Hi Spyder, Thank you for the charts. Do you also annotate the YM chart at the same time as the ES chart? If so, can you post a screen shot of the YM chart once so I can compare the YM and ES motivation that triggers the trades. Thanks again and good trading tomorrow.

Hi Spyder, Thanks for the charts. In this chart you show a FFT, followed by a 2nd FFT and a 3rd FFT before a breakout occurs. How would this be traded? Did you wait through the CCC for the final BO or did you trade through this choppy mess with a number of wash trades? Thanks again.

Why do people use Volume, Range and Tic charts?

ProfLogic, After reviewing your postings one question I have is 'how do you use the +10 and -10 'extreme levels'? Are these levels helpful in identifying the minor trend or the Prime trend only? Thank you again for the thread.

Why do people use Volume, Range and Tic charts?

ProfLogic, another thank you for the charts and a very full description of your approach. One question. There is what appears to be a divergence with the recent market highs last week. At what point would you call a market top on your charts? How early can you call a top or a bottom...

    Stretch and Squeeze

A very complete discussion of YM/ES squeeze was done earlier in the year. Did you take a look at: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54894&perpage=6&pagenumber=434 A lot of good discussion on that thread and an Excel based tool that does much of what you would like...

Median Incomes vs. Price of Housing

    Reminiscences of a Stock Operator...

Right before the October 24, 1907 crash Livermore made his first $1M in a single day shorting a market that was going up fast. The day after the crash he covered his position and made another fortune going long. In the 6 months leading up to the 1929 crash he was building up a large short...
