Anyone knows the percentage of probability of the daily price actually hitting the classic daily pivot, (high+close+low)/3, at any point during the regular market hours ? Particularly YM and ES. Thanks for any shared experience.

Gosh, Try puretick.com, if you take all of Alex calls you can make some money and learn at the same time. They trade the YM exclusively though. I highly recommend them.

Automated strategies are not my thing. I not only do better manually but obviously feel much more in control. Have I used it in the past ? Yes. Has it been profitable ? That too.

I totally agree about not selling but using a trailing stop instead of an actual sell. That one is easy. The hard one is deciding on the details of the trailing stop itself.
