    Error Message at IB

IMO this is the biggest fraud one can imagine! They (INET themself) is making the biggest profits by applying this "automatic" rounding up/down for their own advantage. That is: they internally are using sub-penny pricing for their own advantage! This is a free ticket to let them do how they...

    Daytrading article.. Nypost

This is mathematically nonsense. Daytrading is much much safer than long term trading/investing. What makes DT dangerous is the use of loan money (ie. margin). Trading own money is the safest of all: you risk your money only a fraction of the time, you can exit and reenter as needed. Not with...

Any prop firms willing/able to compete?

This is the commission: http://www.gndt.com/comm_cost.aspx And this the "Other fees": http://www.gndt.com/comm_fees.aspx It still is one of the best prices. Another firm with even cheaper rates is RMLtrading: http://www.rmltrading.com/tools/commissions.html but I don't know if they have an...

Are you 100% sure? I've read different.

Any prop firms willing/able to compete?

Is this a transparent (verifyable) process, or is fraud possible?

Any prop firms willing/able to compete?

Hi, can you please explain how this is working. I assumed the ECN add liquidity rebate works only as long as your order is not executed. But then I don't know what sense it makes. So I must be thinking in wrong direction...

    Genesis Q&A

The ECN routing fees aren't mentioned, so I don't know what 500k shares/day on average per month exactly costs. Can you clarify what in this case the trader has to pay in total for trading 500k shares on a day, say all sell orders, thru INET?

Why is your advertisements (fe. the commission rates) incomplete / not correct?

Am I reading these commissions right?

    What's that meaning?

Then IMO it's no more attractive since it would mean at least .004 per share. For competitive quantities I think one can get better rabates elsewhere.

    Spikes in data

What are the possible reasons for occasional spikes in price data? Ie. bad ticks that needs to be corrected on charts. I wonder how such bad ticks happen. Any idea?

Without an API it's gonna useless; it won't be successful on the long term. Just see freetrade. Nowadays, an API is a must!

Do they have an API for automated trade submission?

    Daytrading 1M

I was thinking of cash only trading, but you can use whatever works best for you; just maximize profit, minimize risk/DD etc. But it should be "repeatable". Ie. next year a similar result should be possible. IMO such a question can be answered best by doing some realistic backtests/simulations.

    Advanced Backtesting

Actually I too am using my own collected data. But I would like to have much more data and for a longer timeframe. The only vendor I found is TickData but they ask $18 per year per stock. Their complete DB costs about $35k. But I think it isn't even having the Bid/Ask data. Self collected data...
