Have you looked at AmiBroker. It will use IB data and IMO has the best backtesting/optimizing on the market.

I find 3 matches for historical volatility and 2 matches for implied volatility. Do you know how to do a search? Hint, use the box called search.

You need to go to the AFL Library at http://amibroker.com/library/list.php then do a search for "historical volatility" and "implied volatility". Leave off the quotes.

You can start by firing Traders accounting. Shouldn't they have told you that?

Yes it is a big deal. You can now expect junk mail to snowball. Your email will be passed on to others. So you might have to change your email one of these days. I never sign up for anything anymore.

Sorry to hear about your friend. If he has TradeSeeker, then he must have got scammed by Teach Me To Trade. Didn't the gov indict these people last fall?

I've been using DTN IQ for about 6 months now and I am satisfied with it so far. I switched from eSignal for the very same reasons. I might not push it to the limit that some people do, but it works well for my 1 min. and 5 min. trades.

I've used Bracket Trader with IB for 2 or 3 years now and found Bracket Trader to be sweet also and IB is the greatest.

If you ever have any dealings with Jim Crimmins and tradersaccounting, you will soon realize that they are not interested in helping you, they will complicate everything and get you deep into a corp just so you will be dependant on their services with high fees.
