Closed out at 1039.... gotta watch that volume I still like the trade but I prefer 1-directional moves. :edit: Wont consider going long til 747 ES 1026 NQ... only if PA looks good and volume on the 1-min kicks up

Stopped on both units, still made some nice coin on the ES unit though... Long NQ again last try 1030, stop 28.75... holding for mid 40's

Closed out 53.50 will enter again Long via NQ at 34.50 stop at 30... will add 1 more contract around 32 if it retraces I would normally wait for more of a pullback but that move from the lows was impulsive action... and impulsing moves don't retrace far

Look at that volume! Go PPT Go! I gotta get half days from work more often. Initial target at 762 but I might just hold this guy for the home-run

Get em on the horn for me volente :D Its not looking too good. Zone tested and repelled quickly multiple times but they keep coming back. 5-min MACD histo also suggests further downside. However when this occurs and further downside doesn't come the move up is generally more powerful.

I've been in an AH trade slump recently... gotta hang tough though. Long ES 848.25 stop 846.50 target 855.25

    Unholy Grail to Success

I like whats you've written so far and where this thread looks like its going. Momentum is a very interesting concept that I think is much harder to program and where many discretionary traders find their edge. Strong S/R with a meandering market = high probability reversal. Weak S/R with...

Look at this vile propaganda from GM

You automaker sympathizers are so disillusioned on whats economically beneficial its scary. I'm pasting an excerpt from Peter Schiffs weekly commentary... it mirrors my feelings. "With the Big Three auto makers now in a plainly visible death spiral, the automotive bailout debate is kicking...

Hard to say if this is an IHS (shoulders at ~56) that will power ES higher during the overnight or if the trend will continue down. I'm going with the latter. Short ES 859.75, Stop 861.75... target 853 minimum

    What does this mean?

The idea is that based on the "velocity" of a move, traders that would otherwise have limit orders sitting on the DOM to enter or exit would pull them... which exacerbates the move further as you have less supply in the direction of the move. Eventually you get a snap back though when...

A long @ 1915-1916 great opportunity for catching the next big move up with small stop... stop just below lows.

This is worth a long on the retrace... could get one hell of a rip higher with small risk getting long ~905. So many stops accumulated above the market from this straight down move.

This is true... this is a heavy market right here. If it manages to get a significant pop from these levels instead of continuing to crater, its a better trade to get long the retrace if you still like the zone.

Short 969.75, stop at 971.50... no immediate target although 963 looks good. :edit:stopped out tonight... wasn't nearly as clean as a setup as last night.
