Why not just use options as stops

I don't think for a CPO you need to register as a investment advisor. I know George Soros fund is registered as both a CPO and CTA and I'm pretty sure he isn't an investment advisor. Same thing with the Medallion Fund

George Soros was the best hedge fund manager. Of course he's handicapped. Do you know how hard it is to trade on 10 billion dollars and get 30% percent return on average for 30 years. On a fund that size your not nimble you can't just pop in and out of positions. Most hedge fund managers...

Yeah but your not trading on 10 billion dollars. Try and do what soros did on 10 billion and tell me how successful you are

Thanks for the advice. I spoke with a couple of brokers and they told me there weren't options on the forex pairs...or if there were they weren't liquid. Do you guys know of any brokers that offer forex options. I tried forex.com and they don't offer any.

I have always traded futures contracts and now would like to trade forex. I was wondering do they have options on forex pairs. The way I trade I always use the option as my stop. Are there options on the Forex pairs? If so which ones and how liquid are they?

Did Soros ever go into his trading methodology. Was he short term trader or long term investor or both. I'm assuming he used technical as well as fundamental analysis.

Most hedge fund guys have all of their money in their own hedge funds....so they not only trade their own money but others and make additional money. If you're a great trader why not have a hedge fund make the additional profit off of everyone else's capital.

Do they have it listed somewhere on record year by year.....I can't find it anywhere. I find it hard to believe the best trader and you can't find his track record
