Hmmm. This doesn't seem to be working out particularly well. :confused:

Long from 1394, looking for 1404 on a T-day trade.

Held this trade into AH, finally closed it out at 1397.25. Was looking for lower, but when it didn't come decided to fold the tent, take the profit and run.

Closed out half at 1396.25 for +6.75, holding other half short. Stop lowered to 1400.25. EDIT: Added to short at 1397.50. Now full-position short again. Stop at 1400.25.

Looks to me like maybe someone turned off the magnet. I'm short from 1403, stop at 1404.25. EDIT: Stop lowered to 1402.25.

Never mind, it doesn't work. :eek:

A 1-tick trade is not a scalp in my book. It's not even a mini-scalp. It's a nano-scalp.:)

That helps. I take it you consider 1250-1260 highly likely. How likely do you consider 1200? The 1343 swing top (if that's what it turns out to be) is very close to a trendline touch on both my weekly $SPX and daily ESM charts. The next obvious topping point on the weekly (from both an S/R...

I can't tell you how grateful I am for that constructive criticism. It's too easy just to take the market's heat on a swing trade, so it's ever so nice to get some additional heat here. Please accept my gratitude.

I remain short ESM8 from 1275 and 1284. Stop now trailed down to below breakeven.

This morning I place resting orders to short ESM8 at 1275 and 1284 (representing 38.2% and 50% fib retracement respectively). Both are now filled. NQ looking weakest of indices, so now looking for possible short there.
