Yes it matters. If you are trading though a firm that self clears your commissions should be significantly cheaper than a firm that does not self clear. Your commishion will most likely always boil down to the sheer number of shares you trade a day though.

be vary wary about stock picking sites. There may in fact be some good ones, but your best bet is to learn to trade your OWN style. It takes time and patience.

I have known several zone traders, and some of the best left zone to trade with another shop (that will remain nameless). I personally have never heard anything all that wonderfull about them. But that just my opinion (that and 2 bits ill get you a cup a joe)

Protrader has bullets for about 1.5 cents, I believe Andover is about the same price as well.

I currently trade at another well known firm (retail). I am interested in switching to Andover. I could use a bit of advice. aka is the software capable of be traded of a cable modem or do I need a T1. ETC
