penny wise, pound foolish. maybe you should hire an accountant... forex is treated as a section 988 loss gain unless you opt out of it....so its ordinary income or loss unless you opt out of section 988

I am sure some in the market are as some of the events are correlated with volatile moves in the market. Here is a U.S. economic calendar: http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/economic-calendar/ But there are ones that are more suited for Forex that show all kinds of events in major pair...
