Quick answer: STOP LOSS is ALWAYS A MAXIMUM 7 PIPS. 1) Usually, I only trade the major pairs. 2) At the moment, I only trade USDJPY because I get more "bang for the buck". 3) Michal Kreslik and I ran statistics for the major pairs. MILLIONS OF TICKS. Our analysis showed that if the...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Looking at the chart, I see 3 "pushes", as in, three waves that made higher highs.... for some reason, the market usually pushes in 3s. It is just an observation of mine. After the third push, I usually look for a reversal. But I always remember: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

Since I am a scalper, as soon as the price crosses the MA, I am in. I am out as soon as the price stalls... I leave a lot on the table, in fact I just took 3 pips and left 8.

The bias is determined by using the wma(240) according to a couple of jjrvat's earlier posts on page 1 of this thread. If price is below the wma(240) only enter short. If price is above the wma(240) only enter long. Simple, yet profitable. If you break this simple rule, do NOT blame...

LOL.. I do use the Buy Zone. I use it everyday. But I like to learn other systems because they give me ideas. And, you are using the indicators in jjrvat's methods as VISUAL AIDS, they are NOT triggers themselves. Once you can see the "TREND" and the "WAVES" you don't need the...

In this system, all I do is what jjrvat taught: 1) identify the bias ( long or short ) 2) identify the waves ( higher or lower ) 3) when price crosses and closes the fast ma line, enter the trade ( pull the trigger) if the wave is with you. 4) collect profit ( exit the trade ).

Simple answer: More bang for the buck. GBPUSD avg hourly range = 32 pips USDJPY avg hourly range = 24 pips But I can buy twice as much USDJPY! I usually only look at the 4 major pairs. I am considering GBPJPY but I have to run the statistics before I will make the switch. You...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

The chart shows what jjrvat just described. Going long when the price is above the ma(240) and crossed/closed above the ma(20) would have been profitable ( so long as you were not trying to be greedy). People know I like to poke fun at SQUIGGLY LINES but as one trader said, "If it makes...

It's nice to know there are people who like to read my posts when there are so many who try to keep me from posting. My indicators and systems must really be a threat to them. I appreciate your kind words, thank you.

(Highest high + lowest low) / 2 aka MIDPOINT is something I use all the time. I usually only look at the previous and current periods. If price above both, buyers in control. If price below both, sellers in control. If price between, then no one is in control.

"a. Identify the time and you are done for the day within 30-60min. meaning stop trying to catch every single move during a day, doing that will reduce a lot the probabilities of placing good trades. In terms of direction: we only need to find the direction of these 30 or 60 minutes no more!!!"...
