Your cmgi example is correct. None of these stocks have risen 2000% in 18 months.

I know about cmgi as well. Nevertheless I believe you can buy it for 1.00 now. My point was stocks that rise that fast take a lot of downward pressure. The are priced to above perfection and at some point in time they will drop like a rock.

Hydroblunt you make it sound like this is all a huge conspiracy. GM made cars they thought we would want. They were marketing mistakes, nothing else. They are not getting kickbacks from huge oil or the government for making cars that run on gasoline.

Put on the a/c and you get half of that 60-80 which wouldn't even get me to work. I don't think there is any question people would buy electric cars if they could perform even half as good as a gasoline engine. They're just not there yet.
