1:08PM, May 19/08, NDX Multiday Market Call! Sell anylong, and Go Short

Yep, they sure are too biased. When you look in the mirror do you see what you want to see, or what is actually there?

1:08PM, May 19/08, NDX Multiday Market Call! Sell anylong, and Go Short

We already have seen the real RFT. You know the one that can't ever post one real trade. The one who has been calling to short the ndx for the last 125 points up. The one that says he was profitable even on his calls that went wrong. Yeah we've all seen this joker.

1:08PM, May 19/08, NDX Multiday Market Call! Sell anylong, and Go Short

If you EVER put all of your calls in ONE thread it would be the most embarassing thread in the history of ET!!!

Nothing Beats Price Action, Everything Else is Derivative

If you can't post the trades you made then who really cares what you think? Everyone has an opinion on where the market will go. Making money is what it is all about, not making predictions hoping that one or two predictions are proven correct. You jump on everyone elses thread with your...

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

Nothing wrong with trying it, but I don't see the point. PNF is not a time-oriented method. As long as the bullish% indicator is in an x column I would ride the train as long as you can, and then tighten up quickly when the stock's relative strength reverses, or we get a new 0 column in the...

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

There are two types of methods to project price. One is the vertical count method, and the other is the horizontal count method. Both methods should only be used after significant bottoms or tops. First we will talk about vertical column price objectives. Once a stock makes a...

4 simple rules of successful trading

I really liked your post. I just have one question on the above. How would you know there was a 400% potential return back when oil was at 25 dollars? It was totally unchartered territory. Anyone who owned it when it at 10 would have been tickled pink to sell at 25. Once it reached 80 you...

(anti)-HolyGrail Day Trading Method (It applies for today's price action)

We already have. He made posts of trades where he would have been stopped out, but now all of a sudden his trades were profitable. Of course, he cannot prove he even made one trade. He is just another piker searching for fame on a message board. It's all pretty sad when you think about...

Speaking of LIARS. Post your actual trades THAT YOU say you made. Yes, you are the LIAR, BUT WE ALL KNEW THAT.

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

Now if you are talking daytrading equities the only thing you have to worry about is coming up with a box size that does not give you many false signals. I use three charts to day trade es. a .5, .75 and 1.0. I use the 1.0 for trend. IMO you need something to give you the overall...

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

Personally, I think it works better on equities than anything else with the one caveat of earnings and news which can blow some really nice signals. That same news and earnings can boost some signals as well so it should even out. I swing trade with pnf signals all the time.

Yes, most false pnf signals ARE THE BEST SIGNALS TO REVERSE DIRECTION. You will make up what you lost and then some.

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

Whenever I am in doubt about a stock I always move up to the next incremental box size and see if it looks bullish. Here is abx on a 2.0 chart. Not a pretty sight. Now that is not to say this can't move up. It just tells me of all the gold stocks this is just not one I would want to be...
