    No-Risk-of-Capital Trading Strategies

AYFN? (Are you f*cking nuts?) The language is crystal clear to anyone familiar with options trading. Are you really a hedge fund trader? Which one? Maybe I can find a way to short it. 90% of the posts on ET are completely devoid of useful information. Atticus's posts are among the few...

    No-Risk-of-Capital Trading Strategies

Reading through the Oanda forum tonight I see you gave the game away on the 9th: KO wrote: "Additionally, one can replicate a synthetic European exotic with an American-corridor option..." Do you think Oanda monitors your posts? You also at least implicitly mentioned the triangle arb...

I second that motion! I have always felt that society's attitude in this regard artificially restrains supply.

    Enough already! It's not random

Good catch, BigFunky! Numbers aren't Maestro's strong suit. I haven't read this paper but his paper on zero-crossings was rife with math errors. Have any of his papers been published? Peer reviewed? Where did he take his degree, if any? And in what field?

Why do I see "Trends" in Randomly Generated Data?

Do they? In actual trading? Or in backtesting? Somehow I suspect its the latter. I have my doubts about your modeling and trading expertise. In this thread, you swallow Maestro's statistically improbable blathering with credulous naievete. You labor under the belief that your hard disks are...

LOL trading bot so good its for sale

Especially Carl, he came up with the algo's for Goldman's Global Alpha, which has done so well lately. It's a sure thing that Mark is Mark Carhart, but I wonder what Carl's last name is?

Why do I see "Trends" in Randomly Generated Data?

The first reference I can find to angels and pinheads was Isaac Disraeli (Ben's dad) at a time when the Catholic Church had little if any power in England. Disraeli pere was a dilettante, not an academic.

    Managing Funds for a Living

Are you delusional? Seriously, are you posting under the influence of some kind of ReardonMetal anti-depressive opiate protocol? Every one of your C2 systems has gone up in smoke and you still think you have an edge? Don't forget to post the name of the new system here on this thread when it...

Why do I see "Trends" in Randomly Generated Data?

Can you provide me a reference on this? What theologians? When? In what book or treatise? It never happened. Theologians did debate whether angels were corporeal and Aquinas did take up the question of whether two angels could occupy the same space at the same time, but I can't find any...

    No-Risk-of-Capital Trading Strategies

Riskfree, I don't think you have the ghost of a clue. If the dealer is pricing a European binary as American, the arb is obvious, far from rocket science. Even a monkey like you should be able to suss it out. The trick is to figure out what dealer. If he's offering it out on ET, it has to be...

    Most popular trading forums ?

"Dropouts" is usually one word. "Problems" is spelled with the "l" before the "e." "Assist" is spelled with three "s's." "Grammar" is spelled with an "a." Four errors in a single short post! Are you a native English speaker? I'd be happy to assist you with your English.

Surf, do you have a personal rule against spelling out Monroe Trout's name? Whatever was that rule's genesis?

    Perpetual Options

Like Warren Buffet, you forgot the space. You meant worth less. Now that I've been outed on the wortlessness of my offer, I guess I will have to sweeten the pot. Riskfree, to lessen that infinite counterparty risk, I will take anything you pay me for the calls and spend it on your...

Riskfree, do not let yourself be cheated! I will undercut Atty's price by 10%. I will sell you a perpetual 160 european SPY call at 55.80.

Nitro, that post is unadulterated gobbledygook! WTF is a "Ricci tensor?" It's on a par with your seventh moment risk on VN's vanilla options shorts. Are you in Chicago by any chance? I am beginning to suspect that you and Mark Brown are inmates at the same asylum.

    FREE ex4 file for MetaTrader4

Doesn't implement it very well, apparently. I downloaded your EA and ran it on an MT4 demo account at IBFX. Down about 10% in a week. So much for free EA's. If you'll release the mq4 code I'll modify it to take the trades in reverse, which will turn it into a sure moneymaker.

GOOG Oct strangle on the 18th, close the 19th.

You're right, that seventh moment risk can kill you short vanilla strangles! That's why I did only one contract. Watch out for the "H2 buy indicator." Look what happened to Electric Savant, as soon as he said he was buying a Hummer, he too fell off the cliff. Now he has all of his and Mrs...

You can check the price and timestamps against time and sales. Executed on the BOX. C'mon, who else is going to do a one contract strangle?

I guess I'm the magician then! Check out the attached gif. I sold it somewhat before I posted. The one contract strangle was motivated by f-f's post. And I have a used Toyota for him, if he can no longer afford the H2.
