woke up late today and missed first 30 minutes, which is odd for me. then got myself into a $250 hole by trying to ss a strong mkt. finally got my head out of my ass, and got it turned around. happy w/ day considering start... +396 net on 6200 shares

didn't trade until after the beige book, and i should have just taken the whole day off. -181 net on 4800 shares

nothing going on for me today, no trades. hoping that these past few slow days give me some setups for the remainder of the week.

that is a pretty broad generalization don't you think? especially when most people would agree that trading boils down to being a game of pattern recognition. doesn't have to neccessarily be a visual price pattern. anyone who isn't throwing darts when they are trading is trading some type of...

i trade price patterns and volume only, although not really any of the "classic" patterns. get most ideas (stocks to watch) off the daily charts, then look for entries (patterns) on the intra charts.

i think any trader that knows what they are doing, and not trying to pump their ego's on a forum, tv, radio, etc... would answer they they don't know because it is impossible to tell what is going to happen next in the market no matter what time frame you are viewing.

same happened here, had one order stuck. genesis said they will be down rest of day, but they were able to remove my stuck order after i messaged them. first time i have had problems with that route.

happy to make anything today since i really didn't like much coming in. again though, passed a few other opps that would of worked if i had been a little more aggressive. thinking mkt will just churn rest of day, so starting weekend early. +90 net on 1200 shares

no trades today, the grmn trade in the blotter was an accident that i sold right after i bought. passed on a few trades early on that would of worked nicely, but didn't have the conviction to pull trigger. glad to see the market correcting some finally, hopefully this will reload some...

i might stand to be corrected... looks like this is the action we have been seeing for the past week. leaders: aapl rimm goog crox fwlt - moving up rest of market rolling and today starting to see some distribution in the leaders

i disagree with this as well. i trade w/ one other trader via chat, and we trade almost identical styles. the last thing i want, is a room full of guys trading completely different styles distracting me from my own trading.
