This sequence appears to be a carbon copy of the 1:05 [closing time] bar on 7-7-08 where you suggested a hold was appropriate. I am looking for context differences but dont see any. Also, is this not lateral movement? All subsequent bars closing inside the 10:05 [closing time] bar?

After a thorough review, I am finding these very beneficial to my trading. I believe that used alone there is probably a positive expectancy, so the use of if1/if2 coupled with a firm grasp of sequences and formations gets very interesting :D

I dont see why the blue traverse is not valid... Clearly the previous bar is about half decreasing black, making that next bar increasing black... Also possible that some end effects are messing with things mucking it up
