thanks very much for your insight...what about an intra month spread of the same contract? Example: buy March ZN and sell June ZN??...or are intra months of same contract best on Eurodollar?

Okay, here it goes... Why have I not, to this date, focused in on one contract to trade and become a "master of one"...some reasons... 1-wanting to get a good run of winning trades with one contract before I become focused on just it..confidence breeds desire to keep working it...

I took a .0250 loss in the 5yr today...if you were to suggest the most basic spread (to daytrade) with the least amount of contracts...what would it be? using 2,5,10, 30 yrs?

no mind games...other work (non trading) and lunch meeting...

still left some huge +$ moves behind in the TF and Soybean Oil by exiting too fast...got to get over this hurdle...thankful for a day ending +$ though

can you please "walk me through" the most basic manual spread trade...either 10yr vs 30yr or 10yr vs 5yr...whatever is easiest... Example: sell 2 x 5yr contracts buy 1 x 10 yr contract or... sell 2 x 10yr contracts buy 1 x 30yr contract ...basically at the same time within seconds?

why? no joking...no cursing...no putting anyone down...this is a for real thread
