there is a thread called "price and volume", lots of annotated charts, easy to follow...

sierra chart is very easy to understand, but i find more and more things that i want to do that is not possible with this program. I also need historical data feed. I saw that that was included in the price with ensign. /Stalker

about moving average on volume - with sierrachart you can just take a moving average, choose volume as data item and put it in the same region as the volume bars, but maybe you can´t do it in the same way in ensign.

Easy, on the chart you posted where you should have entered but didn´t, you have 4 arrows pointing out two bars and the volume - i´m looking, i´m looking again, i´m guessing, but i don´t really get it. What´s the clue that told you there was a high prob. for a trend change around 13:50...

By the way, someone called us who´s trying to learn from jacks method puppets in the first thread. I just laugh at that because you really have to do most of the work and thinking by yourself to get this strategy to work. It seems to me that most strategies will fail if you don´t know the...

mak - the only way i´ve tried to follow stretch/squeeze is by comparing prices between indu and ym directly on TWS. would u consider this to be too "jumpy"? or could it be effective when aproaching a channel line? thanks, Stalker

thinking about ensign myself, not so expensive and it looks good. monitoring es and ym on one screen with sierrachart is not exactly easy...

my biggest problem is, in a situation like this(see chart) when price is resting on the trendline - where´s the clue to if it´s gonna move up again or break the trendline and move down? watching volume, but i never seem to get it right... :) /Stalker
