50k was the starting balance, and this was over the course of two weeks before the demo account expired. It was Calendar spreads I was trading, and size was an average of 100 contracts per spread.

The demo account I was using expired in March, it was a two week trial so I have no screenshots unfortunately.

Using spread trading with futures(mostly treasuries) on the OEC trader demo, I made 23 million in a week. And supposedly the OEC demo trader is connected to the live markets too. So far that is the best result I have had in any demo. The rest were flimsy and glitchy tbh.

I'm sure I read somewhere before that the margin for one of the Ercot contracts is 50k. But I have seen the swap margins on CME and some margins there are listed as very low, such as 35 dollars etc. But if their is potential for huge swings, surely the 50k figure makes more sense?
