    The Importance of Simplicity

Wally....please don't confuse me with the facts.:) You may have a point....but it really doesn't matter because whatever way it breaks...that's the trade. The beauty of this system is that you are letting the market dictate the trend not second guessing it. I think you will find that...

    The Importance of Simplicity

One more thought...maybe Natalie will agree..that on a day like today if we don't get a break before the fed announcement, I will cancel all my orders and not play the break on the news. I have had to many bad experiences with the market intially reacting one way then reversing in the opposite...

    Something very simplistic

Thanks to whoever posted the esignal fib bar indicator but I have another request. Is it possible to have the bars/candles change color like Quah has his setup when the stochs are above/below? Also it would be great to be able to use the fib bar counter on any time frame not just the 1...

    Something very simplistic

Quah.....I have been fooling around with your excel order entry system and it seems to work fine. Only the entry order appears as a stop order on TWS. I thought it was suppose to be a limit order only.....do I have something set wrong? Thanks for all your hard work.

    EasyLanguage Question

Thanks to everyone again. The codes suggested worked great. I heard it is difficult to get good results testing intra-day systems and now I know why. I tested back 300 days and literally looked at nearly every day. There were many times that faulty data(high/low spikes) put me in or...

    EasyLanguage Question

I am having trouble writing a code to test a system. Can anyone help? What I want to do is: Buy if the price breaks out above the high of the first 30 minutes after the opening of regular trading. Sell if the price breaks below the low of the first 30 minutes. Placing stops at the...

    Net Capital requirements for broker/dealers.

Ok...now that wasn't so hard. It is reassuring to know that the class A members have a considerable interest in the success of the business. How about the policy on returning the capital of withdrawn class B members? Snosur4

    Net Capital requirements for broker/dealers.

Regardless of what others may say about Don's motives, he is forthcoming with information that I feel should be available to all prospective members/partners. So far, I have not heard a logical reason why that information should not be disclosed. I can think of many reasons why it is not...

    Net Capital requirements for broker/dealers.

My point exactly! But as far as I know this information is not readily available to prospective investors. Yes, I said investors. If they(the class A members) are asking you to contribute funds that they can use (they also benefit from the increased leverage provided by your funds) and...

    Net Capital requirements for broker/dealers.

GHJ... Thanks for the reply. From what you state above, my research must be correct. I agree, that 1.25 mil would be sufficient for a small private group of traders with risk parameters easily controled, but I would be concerned about that amount be enough with multiple traders...
