You can't ship those monitors - WAY TO EXPENSIVE Best way to sell them is: Ebay with local pickup. Craigslist with local pickup. Good thing about Ebay is that they will be gone in 7 days - no hassle with negotiating a price, start the bidding at 1 pound. :)

    option question

I was thinking he is referring to options on any product Worldwide. So I narrowed it down to the simplest and probably the most popular option market, US Equity and US ETF's :)

How does IB define "market value" of extremely illiquid options for margin call purposes?

Are you sure? The margin required for Debit Spreads, Credit Spreads, Butterflies is based on the short options only? Sounds like BS to me. :)

Options Bid/Ask in Penny Increments (instead of 5 cents)?

You are too focused on the options. No mention of the underlying in your post. How do you think the underlying will perform during the time-frame of your option trade? :)

    option question

US equity and ETF options (calls and puts) are the easiest to figure out and probably the most popular. Such as: US equity: AAPL, GOOGL, AMZN , FB, MSFT, etc. ETF: QQQ, SPY, DIA, GLD, etc. My guess is that 99% of option traders have no intention of trading the underlying. So the trade is...

I was going to post a similar idea, until I checked the Jan 20, 2017 SPY option chain - TOO EXPENSIVE. So I posted the "self hedging/insurance" post instead. You can sell at anytime. :)

40% is nothing when it comes to options. One day down 40% next day up 40%. Options = Volatility Volatility = Wild Price Swings :)

TD Ameritrade/TOS closing down in Asia. Any ideas why?

The only restriction is no opening trades, until you send the required info. Lesson learned: Always have at least two trading accounts with two different brokers. :)

How do you trade long term options?

RE: How do you trade long term options? The same as short term options - figure out where the underlying will be trading during your time frame and base your option trade on that. Do not micro-manage - keep in mind your original reason for placing the trade in the 1st place. Yes :)

    IC adjustments

IMO ....... It makes no sense to close that leg because it's so far OTM and most likely to expire worthless - that's the whole idea behind the legs of a IC, you want them to expire worthless. Just sell a Credit Spread and leave the original Iron Condor alone. :)

Call Out Your Potential Option Trade and Let's Discuss it

I missed the fade part in your post. So I interpreted your post as when you noticed a Vol (as in volume) Spike you followed the money and copied their trade. :)

    IC adjustments

You decided how the underlying will trade. Place the IC strikes outside of that range. Wait to expiry. Nothing more to do. Do not micro-manage the trade. Options are volatile - the line between a loss and profit is very narrow. :)
