Hi To be able to trade futures, you should at least have $10.000 ($20k preferable) in your account. Assuming that you risk 1% risk per trade. ES 1 tick is $12.50 so 10 tick stop will cause you 1.25% loss. Futures trading is risky. Even trading micros is risky... This is my opinion.

Dude it's just an example and risk management. I never risk more than 2% of my entire account in a single trade. I didn't say I have $10K btw. It begins with "Let's say..." :) I have never traded options but everything else. Just asking this simple idea to understand the logic :)

How would you trade this setup? I think market is going bearish for the next few weeks. Shall i buy puts or sell calls itm, otm, atm? And what expiry date would you trade? Can you close the position if the target hits before the expiry? I think, selling is risky as your loss can be unlimited...

Draw a trend channel if exists (ascending if possible). Each time price tests the support level, go long. Target 1:4 and move your stop to BE once price reaches 1:2 This one seems easy but still hard to execute... The other thing i can recommend is https://finviz.com/
