    Worldco LLC

Social/environmental background has got to have something to do with a persons perception of the market, and the world, so it will have at least some(small, large?)effect on their style. IMO. But of course, the market doesn't care.

    Snake oil marketing on Elitetrader

Yes, if you have an income source, trading is easy, trading is easy, trading is easy. Watch the candle flame, you are getting sleepy. Looook into my eyes.

    Snake oil marketing on Elitetrader

It's a mistake to bother with any of it. It's a whole different market that really has nothing to do with the stock market. It does add some "liquidity" to the stock market though.

    Pulling the Trigger

I agree with Candle. Lower your position size. I suggest cutting it to 1/4 or 1/6, make twice as many trades so you learn twice as fast, trade with a penny per share broker, and consider commissions as a learning expense. It's also a cheaper way to find out if any confidence you have is well...

    Advice On New Computer

I sent Gateway an email (whoop-tee-doo, but it made me feel better) and told them if they didn't have Athlon I wouldn't buy my next computer from them (three so far). I mentioned to someone that I'd seen this sort of thing before. A company gets successeful and they start to make uni-lateral...

Who is the better technician, Alan Farley or Gary B. Smith?

The service you should use really depends on who you like the most, who you have the most confidence in, who you want to pay.

    Luck

Either you have a plan or you have luck. If you have a plan, trade it, and it has a positive expectancy, you can expect to profit. If you don't have a plan, then you are relying on luck, and are a fool (who will soon be seperated from his money). Anyone who is consistently profitable but says...

Missing the glory days of wide ranges.

I was watching IMCL. The volume went from titanic down to humongous as it bottomed. I "knew" that it was about to go back up. The volume was "pressure" compressing a spring. When the pressure decreased, up it popped. I sat there like a dummy and watched it go up 10%.

Missing the glory days of wide ranges.

I was in a halt a couple of weeks ago. It lasted a few hours. The halt was caused by an investigative article in a magazine. The stock was halted because of a magazine article of all things, I couldn't believe it. The powers that be finally determined that the stock was ok to trade...

Hey guys, quit complaining. There aren't many things finer than a bathroom when you really need one. If they have one they're ok in my book. If they don't, well, forget it. As for being old, funny thing, the older I get the happier I become. Hitman, you seem to think that calling someone old is...
