    Insider trading site?

Speaking of insider trading. If memory serves me correctly ? insiders are only required to report their stock transactions every six months. One of the new laws that may come out of the Enron hearings is that they may soon be required to report within a few business days. I think it should be...

    Why Nyse stocks ?????

This is why I don't like NYSE stocks. I lost large (for me) on this one today. Bright says that limit orders are "entered manually by the specialist and his assistants". Because it is manual there is room for "mistakes" as far as I'm concerned. Tharp says that the specialist cannot trade outside...

    Thanks from Don....

I know a guy who used to come in to our store. He had a mechanical valve put in 20 years ago and he's great. He even let some of us listen to it, you can hear a faint click-click but he says he has never noticed it. I guess they're really dependable and last just about forever.

    Intraday Breakouts

The market's been very disjointed lately. Very random. NASDAQ Composite March 28th, April 1, April 2 10 min bars illustrates it. Wierd. No direction, seems like just a lot of waffling and indecisiveness to me. Seven major gaps in the last month. I think we're in some sort of a consolidation period.

    MM/SP knows Day Traders????????

Complixity you say? At least his loss is explixit at this point. If he hires a lawyer, then who knows how much more it will cost.:p

    MM/SP knows Day Traders????????

If your for real then a standard piece of advice is "Never risk more than 1% to 2% of your portfolio on any one position.". For a beginner it should be way less, maybe 1/2%. For a $100k account 1/2% risk would be 200 shares x $2.50/share or 500 shares x $1.00/share, and this would be Maximum...

    Clutter Free Trading ?

The clutterance of my place doesn't effect my trading at all. Every once in a while, when things aren't going too well I'll clean the place up, but it doesn't help a bit. A desperation move I think. It does improve my attitude though.

    Age and trading

No, not metaphorically. The beard and the horns would be a metaphore. I believe God is a real, and so is the devil. REAL. I KNOW it.

    Age and trading

I believe it's what we love that is important, not what others want us to believe. Believing what others want us to believe, in order to avoid punishement, is spiritual slavery. I believe that God wants lovers because it is His nature, and the Devil wants slaves because it is its nature.

If there was a god that would condemn me to hell because I didn't say ten hail Marys I'd be comfortable with it too. But that's not God. Neither is religion. That's what I believe anyway.

    Age and trading

Job ch14 "Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower and fades away; He flees like a shadow and does not continue." If you take a position on this world you are in deep kaka. You are bound to loose.

    Exit strategy

I think that if there were a holy grail it would involve the exit strategy. When you pick an entry point all you've speculated on is the direction of the price, and there are only two possibilities, up or down, long or short. The exit on the other hand has hundreds or thousands of possibilities...
