    Keeping It Simple

the lo of the 1st 30 min range was 885.5, I set my trigger to lo -1 or 884.5. I didn't only get 7, I take my profit in 3rds. I typically trade 12 lot so i like to reduce risk as the trade progresses rather than risk it all to stop. I only trade 3 lot during the holidays, with such low volume I...

    Keeping It Simple

today must of been the day to play es. I shorted the morning range this @ 884.5. Booked 22 points on 3 lot. actually both yesterday and today were quite nice although it took some patience to stick with the plan.

good job.. I took an es trigger at 96.5. took 1/3 at 99.5, 1/3 at 900.5 and stopped out the final lot at 97.5, reversed short there although probably against my better judgment as I usually sit out the lunch hour and things are moving pretty sloow..

I took the short at 94.25, just got my 1st 3rd at 90.75, target lod for the 2nd and hold the last to stop, would be nice if we took out lod but I've moved my stop down to 93.75 just about that last bit of congestion so whatever the day brings I'll just let happen. my entry rational today was...

    Keeping It Simple

nq has kept me from going long so far. I'm only half watching today between chores. I'm usually very cautious about trading triple witching fridays or quad as it is now. may take a small position short here if we loose 94 ES but am more concerned about surprising my wife by cleaning up the house...

banker.. I just noticed you attached a chart I'm assuming you wanted me to mark it up with my stuff. I'm not a real frequent bulletin board user so if I'm doing this wrong don't flame me but I'll just post my workstation as it appears after todays trading with what I was looking at in regard to...

    Keeping It Simple

db regarding my reasons for entering where I did today are as follows. The morning entry(long), for me playing gaps is many times a gut level decision that I have to make quickly, do I fade or stand aside and let the dust settle? This mornings entry was on the 9:39 bar, although the gap open...

    Keeping It Simple

ok.. I'm using atr(10) and have 34.74 for nq. anyway I don't think your method is that complicated, believe me I've tried complicated:) What you describe is very similar to the way I've been trade for about the past 3 months. I used to scalp and it got to be extremely taxing on my nerves. Trend...

    Corallus Chronicles, ES Journal

I saw the divergence you mention, combined with a trendline(from the morning lo) break on the 5 min right there at that S1 pivot and Trin recovering from lod got me short at 22.5 after the 2nd failure to penetrate that pivot to the upside. I covered 1/3 at 18 and the rest at 13. I also took the...

    The Importance of Simplicity

I know you didn't ask me but I just stumbled onto this thread and trade a very similar method. Using the high from the last 15 min bar I took the long on a 1 pt breakout at 34.25 however was afraid it might retrace(as it did) so after seeing the next 5 min bar post a lower high I exited when...
