I know exactly what your talking about. If you look at my journal, I have been trading the YM and do fairly well almost every morning session then give it all back and go negative in the afternoon. Not sure what is going on there, but the afternoons have been killing me past few weeks as well.

No new trades for myself, but my bot has made one trade, and is now up $107... I did something I probally shoudlnt have, which is I just exited the bot's short ES position..... I really shouldn tinker with my automated trading system.... but couldnt resist, may come back to bite me in the butt...

Some of yesterdays downward momentum carried into my first 2 trades today, was very edgy. Also, as I generally do after a bad day I try to mix things up some the next day, so I also have my bot running today.. not sure how smart of an idea that was though....... its yet to make a trade...

mymini, I know I saw that.. my problem is the day was going so slow, and there was no follow through, so I started fading entires I would normally take.... needless to say I took a short right there, I knew I should have went long... :( thats what I get for fading the signals

boro, There are several things that led up to me opening a position and not entering the stops. I work full time during the day while day trading, which if you see my P/L you know why I need to work ;) So there are rare occasions where somethign comes up at work where I need to walk away...

Arthropod, Thanks for the interest in the journal. Its good motivation when I know someone is reading about all my mistakes. Nobody wants to look like a fool and blow up their whole account while people are watching, so it helps me keep myself in check. Update: Now up +$80 on the day...

I hate these slow tight ranges... its like an open invitation to over trade....... I am currently up $53 so cannot complain that much, but I would like to see some sort of trend develop here eventually so I can work on getting some bigger scores...

Very slow day.. only made 1 trade for $5, got out quick because I realized I was on the wrong side of the market. Other than that one trade, havent seen any other openings yet.... trying to be patient..

Just to chime in with my tidbit..... Yes you can hid it if your only showing 7 orders waiting to transmit as you have... there is a reason you stoped, the 8th order would show parts of the simulated watermark...... If you look at mymini's posts, you will see many of his show MORE than 7, and...
