    In the current environment, though, when rates "should" be falling later this year, a CD or Treasury gives a way to lock in a rate (granted they are priced for the upcoming fall) than a MM which will fall.

    Since the interest on T-Bills is state tax free, it seems odd that ETFs like BIL that only contain T-Bills require you to pay state taxes on the monthly distributions. Thoughts why that is so?

    Actually, if bought thru a broker, you can usually get margin on them to make intraday trades. Overnight holds would require margin to be paid. This is at some brokers. Gotta check the specifics of the one(s) you use.
