I have been trading the US markets from NZ, but it's a royal pain, the market opens at 3:30 am local time. It's not too bad in the winter (it's summer now), when the market opens at 1:30 am. It's good to make forex trades, because you can follow the action from Europe all the way into the US...

So essentially, it's a false breakout (other direction than the higher time frame) in the lower time frame while undergoing consolidation in the higher time frame. If the SPX breaks below 1168 and then rallies over 1190, I believe that we will have a similiar setup.

I notice that when I cancel an existing order, it takes about 5+ seconds for that order to go away from the screen. Is there any way to do this faster ?

I thougt that the 30 yr bond and 10 yr note yields are denoted by $TYX and $TNX Is this not true ? Can one not use the price action in these instruments (TNX etc) to predict the action in the futures (bond and notes). This is for slightly longer term predictions (a few days) If not...
