Banging out dimes???? Ya sometimes. I don't mind "banging out dimes" on 5K blocks of stock. But nowdays spreading my money out over 10 or 20 positions and going for points is much easier and more my daytrading style. But thanks for the compliment anyway. LOL :cool:

If someone wants to ignore the hard to borrow list what does shorting on a downtick have to do with that? You can still short a stock on the hard to borrow that requires an uptick. Of course if your caught you may get a fine or lose the profits. I don't see how the hard to borrow list has...

I wouldn't say major "impediment." It will just make short side fills a little easier on the NYSE with my quicker type of scalp trades on a falling stock which I do some of. But the longer term trades obviously won't be much different.

You will often get odd lot fills on the ecns. Happens to me all the time.

About 3 years ago I traded under the San Diego branch office. Good guys with some excellent traders. Not sure how they operate now, you may have to put some money down. But maybe worth trying to contact them and seeing what you can find out. http://www.tuco.com/home.htm

I've also traded for assent about 5 years ago. I still trade prop just for a different company now. I use Tradestation software for charts only. Where I currently trade I cannot route orders from tradestation through my executtion software. I was wondering if any of the other prop companies...
