An interesting observation on my calendar -- my Mar/Mar5 (quarterly) 144 SPY calendar just yawned. Virtually no change, with the move up in the VIX.

I noticed a skew between the March and back month options in Bank of America. Not an earnings month, so what's going on? Perhaps something going on in the banking sector?

Listen to Simon on "American Idol". Maybe this is just not for you. Or, you need to do another style of trading -- long term vs day trading, income (option neutral) vs spec (directional). I suggest that you read Tharp's book.

This is a great market for calendars -- low IV and range bound market.

Dan Sheridan talked abt GOOG earnings play yesterday in his webcast on CBOE.

I was told that even if a market does not support penny pricing for individual options, speads may be filled in pennies.

He says that he will not take just anyone into this service, implying that he has to turn people away. Hmmm......
