Covered the few i was able to reshort around 750. Maintaining core short. I'll be reassessing if it gets to the 650 area, although I can certainly see it getting back to 600.

    Would you trade this strategy?

Do you work there? I can't believe they would employ a strategy that hasn't had rigorous testing or a long real time track record.

The portfolio bit of it will show you what your capital usage is at any given day and drawdowns on all positions. What if you had signals to get long all 9 stocks and then all 9 drewdown? What's your pain threshhold. Other point is that even intra-industry can get highly correlated and then...

    Vanity Fair on BSC Collapse........

Everyone is barking up the wrong tree. Short sellers in stock for sure did not cause Bear to fail. It was counterparty credit risk and CDS. What kind of message do you think it says when 3 major banks announce to their traders they can no longer face Bear Stearns on any CDS trades? And the...

    Corn Crash!

Every crash starts with a correction though. I just like the sound of the word. Totally off topic but have you noticed that on words to describe selling are so aggressive compared to buying? HIT, SMACK, BANG those bids, where as you merely LIFT the offer ever so gently.
