    Trading The Hang Seng

I think the MHI is good. i used to trade it a while ago. IB stands for Interactive Brokers. A broker with cheap comish that over 50% of the people on this forum use. Poorest customer service though.

    Martingale system in Trading

Even with small capital it can be profitable until... you hit that one trade that blows you. You could make money backtesting a couple months and then boom, you hit a further std dev event and your done fast.

    Trading The Hang Seng

Do you do any fading long or short? I mean suppose there is an EXTENDED move up in 1-3 minutes and then you get to a 5-15 minutes bars resistance of a previous day, then you would short expecting a fast move down and scalp 1 to 3 one minute bars and look for a 50% retracement profit. Same thing...

    Re-quotes

No clue about liquidity but for the most of us, we dont trade exotics and stick to the majors because the spreads are too wide.

    Re-quotes

You get a requote because you sent a "limit" and the price you specified is no more availlable. Nothing wrong, same as stocks, futures, they just tell it to you. I do get a lot of requote, and yes lately it's been "worst". What I do about that is specifying the slippage I ma willing to take...

    Tradestation Fees

It will. You will pay the same amout of comish on 0.10 stock as you will on GOOG. And that is what they care about. But for you, it's hard to break even on a 0.005 per share on a 0.10 stock.

    Trading The Hang Seng

Have you been trading that for a long time? I mean, do you know if the current volatility is a standard for the Hang Seng or could it be because the market is more volatile with the credit crisis? I had some very wild moves on the GBP/JPY during the asian session lately but I think it was mostly...

    Opening Orders - 2008

Start by reading the news ;-) "Goldman to sell $2 billion in FDIC-backed bonds: source" For exits: Fixed %, fixed $ amount, trailing stop, no take profit only tape read. I use a fixed % target ,auto limit send as soon as I get filled. For those that goes red or dont hit my target I...

Prince Alaweed: "Citigroup is my core holding"

Fortunately I did not read that in a public place. Peeing my pants.

    Opening Orders - 2008

The closer you get increase your probability of getting shaked out. With a stop you cut big losers, good thing. Some stocks go the oposite way and then come back at a profit or flat, then you have to tape read. IMO it all depends on your list. You can't really have a set rule for all stocks...

    where to buy gold coins?

People don't do that for speculation purposes. Unless one would want to avoid taxes. When you buy metal you are willing to pay the spread so that you get the real thing... in your hands.

    where to buy gold coins?

www.kitco.com If your in Montreal I think you can just drop by and get them yourself. In major cities there are surely some dealers where you can buy small amounts. We have some here in Montreal. It's good to have your coins right into your hands and spreads are similar. Be carefull the price...
