    JimmyJAm Thanks for the links and the info. I saw a trading report/portfolio earlier in the year from "$costaveraging". It was a good sheet and i am working my way round that. I believe it is downloaded from vectorvest which i subscribe to. cheers

    I am also looking for a simply way of keeping records. I trade 10-20 times a day and therefore do not mind something slightly more complicated. I trade approximately 10 different equities and therefore i guess a sim ple spreadsheet may not be sufficient. any ideas much appreciated.

    Best Software for MAC for record keeping.

    I tend to use the reports generated by brokers (i use scottrade and Think or Swim). Problem of using an excell spreadsheet is the time it takes to input the trades etc. i would be also interested in other peoples views.
