Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Why not? We were just 5 pts shy of that level moments ago.

Interesting to see if we test SPX 2021 today.

EM currencies surging against the dollar, euro and Yen, its clearly risk on.

May not be over yet, I don't think energy alone can take SPX above 2021.

Dollar sinks, oil is surging again, going to breach 50$ easily.

Yea which was why energy and commodities led the rally this time round. Energy in particular, has been insanely strong.

Yea I think SPX 1984 - 2021 is likely to be a "chop zone" with plenty of head fakes, the market is not going to make it easy for anyone who is going long or short here.

Lower dollar = higher equities should have been the case all along, a strong dollar is a headwind for US large caps with operations/sales overseas, it has never been positive for stocks. The pumpers needed a story to sell to the masses so I think the rhetoric changed somewhere along the way and...

Thats 34 points from today's close, which isn't insignificant from a swing trader's perspective. A good entry is everything in trading, because without a good entry, there can be no good stop loss.

The market doesn't breakout even if SPX goes to 2000, the intraday high on Sept 17 was 2021.

~1993 ES, which is around where this thing traded post FOMC.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Sept 17 was a breakout that failed, 1984 ES was the first reaction high of this selloff, we went above that level briefly post FOMC but failed to close above that level. I don't see any failed breakouts right now, there is no significant resistance to break out off anyway. Imo 1984 will be...

They will but not here, there isn't any strong overhead resistance at current levels.

Bulls are gunning for those FOMC highs, or more if it goes above that. See no good reason to sell before that, buyers need to exhaust themselves before this has any chance of moving back down.

Up another 20 pts off Friday's close. Fund managers can't wait to put money to work.

This will probably test the FOMC highs again, bears might want to avoid selling until we get to that level.

Dow, S&P close up more than 1%, post biggest reversal in 4 years

I was short the day before NFPR and I pretty much covered near day lows, was thinking this will probably bounce a little but still close in negative territory for the day so I went out to attend to some personal matters shortly after I closed my position. Imagine the shock I got when I came back...

My guess is the big boys sold portfolio protection during the Aug crash, so they will try to keep this propped up until those puts expire worthless.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

This thing ought to be trading much lower than aug lows now, a large chunk of the market is already lower than those levels, market breadth is just terrible.

43pt dump from pre NFPR peak. Woohoo!
