    Ninja Vs. Button?

Thanks for the tip. Was sort of worried immediately after downloading that it might be an unchangeable feature (for an IB reason). Obviously I am in need of having to read the Ninja manual this weekend.

    Ninja Vs. Button?

I've used Buttontrader for quite some time and it's a great order execution frontend for semi-auto trading, but its relatively lack of features is somewhat disappointing. I've just downloaded Ninjatrader demo and am playing with it a little and this one seems like it has a lot of potential and...

Looking to lease a seat in Montreal.

Hi there, I trade ES also -- been at it for about 3 1/2 years and also have 1 1/2 years of prop trading experience before that [me in a nutshell --in early 30s; don't speak French that well]. I've been working from my residence but am looking to get an office, preferably with other...

Looking to lease a seat in Montreal.

Seriously, there are no arcades in Montreal? How about -- is there anybody who'd like to share an office space and such? My unabashed attempt at a bump.

Looking to lease a seat in Montreal.

I've been trading from home for years and it's getting me a bit bogged down. I'd like to know if there is an office setting or a trading floor in Montreal where I can just lease a seat and trade with other people. N.B. I'm not looking to trade prop., and plan to bring in all my equipments...

    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

To elaborate a bit more, a strong move in line with the prevailing trend like yesterday's occurs near the top before a big reversal. An example would be the last time we sold off in January -- we had a triple top, had an initial sell off on the 20th which reversed hard and in the next morning...

A big problem for longs this week has been that the average trading volume is concentrated around 83 yet there has been very few buying activities just few points above it so far. I suppose a way to solve that problem, as we all know, would be to gap it up tomorrow and create a little cushion...

    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

On the way up since 78, we've had bursts of volume on 2 pt intervals, which indicates this is being powered by stops rather than genuine buyers. Once it's all done (connect the previous 2 peaks this week and the chart indicates we are very close to a key resistance, which, believe it or not is...

Going short on a break down of support in this market has been akin to being suicidal indeed. So if wanting to go short at all, short the resistance and get out some place ABOVE the support, because we've had a tendency to shoot above upper targets and stay above lower ones.

I doubt there's a whole lot of downside left for the rest of the day. We might end up going back up near 80 or so because of the average trading volume concern. We also closed the Monday gap.

The moment of truth for triple bottom or further downside. . .

Hmm, buyers since Monday are caught at around 84 average but there aren't that many sellers below 80 so far. It really is anybody''s game right now, though internals weakening after 2 pm suggests to me we're going to see some lower low action soon.

At this point if we start moving above about 85 it would be time to close any shorts and monitor. Just saying I'm not married to the position nor do I have a prophetic long term outlook :D .

Looking for a second wave of selling that would take us to high 60s to low 70s from here before any higher high challenge takes place.

I'd say a little below yesterday's low. After that around 77 in cash.

I suppose we found a new equilibrium at 83.75 since Monday???

I tend to think that it will probably be a snoozer until 2 pm today maybe except for a little range making in the morning. Interesting Euro action though, going down all night.
