Bob, Thanks for the reply. I'd like to be able to monitor the quote screens, and charts, but have the functionality for buttons disabled. So if I walk away or turn my back to the computer, I can feel comfortable that my kids or anyone else will not accidently execute a trade. thanks

I had a similar event occur 2 days ago with IB(friday). I set a stop on a chunk of SPY shares which did not trigger, when it should have... I had never seen this before from them I ended up manually executing the trade. jeff
