    A strategy I read about

As I stated, I read about it in a book. However, I know 2 people who have used a similar strategy with BRK.B. The one who started the strategy, earned 24.5% a year over 20 years using BRK.B, with an entry price of 1.3 p/b and an exit price of 1.5 p/b. When he sold the call, he would use the...

    A strategy I read about

My feeling is that it has potential. Another way to do it, is just to own ditm calls on brk.b when it's P/B is <= 1.3, and sell the option and buy BRK.B when its p/b is >= to 1.5. At a p/b of 2, perhaps get out of BRK.B.

I would not put more than a small amount of your money into the strategy, because watching yourself lose 65% in a year is painful. I sold my original investment, so I am playing with house money now.

They look for stocks increasing revenue at sometimes 80%. Wy the method works so well, I don't really know, because it goes against my philosophy, but the person who started the group did between 25 and 30% per annum since 1990 or so. They publish their results every month, so the numbers...

    A trading idea

I have only found one way to get 25%/year when the market returns 10%. It is to buy stocks growing their revenue at enormous numbers, maybe 65%/year, that have a high gross margin. The valuation will be high, but not insanely high. Also, each quarter the revenue growth will be increasing...

    A trading idea

I have been doing this for 27 years, and have been in two bears. 2000-2003, and the GFC. In both cases, I did fine, but not as well as I could have. I bought a little more, but then got nervous, and just held what I owned not selling anything. If I had bought a lot when it went down, I...

Selling Options for passive income by Robert Kiyosaki

Yes, that is what I meant. I learned all the math for that, in my sophomore year of getting my BSEE degree. I think only a very gifted high school student could do it. I certainly would have been clueless if I saw that when in high school.
