Each individual gets from ET what they want to get - pure and simple. I don't think in the BIG picture there is anything wrong with someone posting A GREAT DAY -- even IF they never post again! It is very neat to see someone WHACKING THE MARKET for some coin --- IMO. With the wins, comes losers...

seems to me, the longer ONE survives as a trader THE more you realize that SIMPLICITY HAS THE POTENTIAL to make money. perspectives, however can also be very important - so i guess you never know IN what book, or chat CAN lead to serious work unfolding a perspective.

Eagledog - honestly, I think all the responses were very funny, and more for a laugh NOT at the person BUT more about the situation. In some way, we all have at times been the ONE staring at the PnL trying to figure OUT why it says, what it says. :) But this one is funny because HOW simple it...

I have heard similar comments about Type B firms as described above. The only issue IS what type of BUYING POWER, under retail you are being told they will allow intraday. Obviously, that is the issue that would be tricky.

I have to say, after all the years reading ET, this POST is a piece of work! I got my laughs for today. I say this solely because I check splits daily, and saw RIMM this morning AND said to myself - Ill bet someone has a heart attack. :)

wtg, MBAGearhead! I hear ya, the ringer kept ringing today. +39,595, on 521K shs. I left lots on the table today as well. Back to GREEN on the month and thankful I made the adjustment to my trading.

+5101, on 204K shs. appears my adjustment was important, but the next week's performance will be key.

+14,216 on 238K shs trading remote. Too bad, I missed yesterday's trading due to travel. From others I spoke to it was an AWESOME day. Today, I cut back my size considerably but everything ran smooth from 1 laptop. Still deep in the hole for the month, but I ll take it. Have a great weekend, all.
