i think the fed is implying they will lower rates again this morning. cannot see any other reason why the futures gapped up so much.

I recently lost all of my data including anvil so i just went to the site and downloaded anvil again. however,i noticed they use F5 for their ssl now rather than nortel. i downloaded the F5 SSL but here is my question: do i use my same ssl password and login that i used for nortel?

you never say stock trader. you say you OWN an equities firm. your firm trades equities on the new york stock echange as well as the nasdaq. you say you do what goldman sachs proprietary trading separtment does but on a smaller scale bla bla bla.sounds very sophisticated.

LEAVE OUT daytrading on your resume'. it sounds reckless to most people unfortunately. a better way of approiaching trading as a career once you have kids and a family is to start off part time and slow. once you build a successful strategy you can embark on a trading career.imo

anyone who buys bidu into earnings is friggin nuts. don't get me wrong the payout could be huge. look at FSLR today. if they miss or lower guidence,its a 20 point drop at least.

GS was able to buck the trend but they have a bunch of skeletons in their closet. at least the street is starting to think that.

the street senses that the current administration will do anything to prop up the economy;the signing of the stimulus package is really what did it today.also,options related to an extent i would imagaine.

agree with the above post. trading for a living will create a tremendous amount of stress. of course every job has its own stress but trust me on this,trading is a whole different animal.do it on the side.
