Thats pretty much the way I play it as well. If price breaks through with some conviction I'll keep some breathing room in my stop and let it ride, but if it just bounces and bumbles around anywhere in that area im out and looking for my next entry signal. Like I mentioned in my first post...

I like looking for a retracement to the 21ema for counter-trend trades. Thats the only squiggly line I have anywhere on my intraday charts. I certainly dont use it to predict nor do I use it for any concrete entry/exit/stop. That line is just an area of interest to me, nothing more.

I have RSI on my charts, but the better I learn the markets, the less I seem to glance at it. I usually pay it no attention unless its way, way, way overbought/sold. The only math based indicator that is part of my system is the 21ema, and it is merely an area of interest to me on my chart...

take a closer look at his graphic, the high and low of the inside bar are within (or inside) the entire range of the previous bar. the exact opposite of an outside bar, or engulfing bar as some prefer to call them.
