Lol! Cramer: "higher Oil Is A Good Thing"

Let's not forget Bob Pisani...he is as worthless as they come. There are a few good programs on that station, but the network would do itself a favor by canning Pisani, Kudlow, Kneale, and Gasparino (who is to CNBC what Omarosa was the Trump's show...and he should be told: you're fired)

Thoughts on finding help with analysis

My opinion would be to go with an academic if you can find one who has time and interest. They tend to be passionate about their field, often enjoy sharing their enthusiasm with others, and tend to be quite happy with their world of theory and so would most likely not present a threat to your...

Where is the recession? Show me ?

Are you stock_trd3r, because you sound just like him and seem to be making about as many fans as he has on ET.

    Series 7 and 55

I studied three weeks for the 7, then after passing that studied another two to three weeks for my series 66, but didn't start studying for the second until the first one was out of the way. That worked well for me, but everyone is different.

Could eSignal really be this bad?

CQG stand for Commodity Quotes and Graphics, and they are known for their advanced technical analysis package and for offering a wide variety of indicators. Their feed is very reliable, unlike E-Signal's, but as far as whether or not they have an EFS-like programming language I am not sure.

Could eSignal really be this bad?

CQG is much better, yes. Not sure I follow your inquiry on charting...what are you asking?

Could eSignal really be this bad?

Their customer support people seemed helpless trying to defend a horrible product if you ask me. The delay issue got so bad for energies that I canceled my subscription and have upgraded to CQG. The cost is significantly more, but I was getting delays of up to 30 seconds in a fast moving...

    Time 3 go green

I get a chuckle out of that too...he is a moron, but there is something fun about laughing at him. Clearly he wasn't taught how to get along well with others as evidenced by the way he interacts with his fellow ET members, but it seems he actually enjoys the slander (as BnB seemed to), as he...

    Natural Gas Bull Run

Dip buyers punished today...in just about every commodity market. That said I think a lot of today's selloff had to do with liquidation to meet margin calls in equity markets, and that the drop has gotten a little ahead of itself. Then again, it's natty...it is a market known for showing no mercy.

MF Global down 60% right now

What happened to the customer segregated funds rule and the fact that no FCM is supposed to be allowed to touch an account with customer segregated funds? It sounds as though some are suggesting that this is in fact a farce and not true at all.

How Much Stop Slippage is Typical?

Actually 50 cents or even a dollar in one minute is pretty common these days...we have been having at least one move of that magnitude that quickly almost daily lately. It's usually on high volume though and the slippage shouldn't be more than a few cents at most.

How Much Stop Slippage is Typical?

That's because he works for a brokerage outfit and tries to bring in clients with his e-mails...it says "open your account today" at the bottom of his "daily e-mail blast" (his words). He is a half decent writer, but his trade recommendations are likely no better than 50/50. And if he is an...

    crude 110 yahoooo

Someone on Bloomberg said Fed was going to cap oil

By mandate, no way. Drastically raising interest rates might slow its rise and cause short term reversal, but the FED cannot do anything to oil prices directly.

    Seeking a partner

This sounds like it could be a very good solution for the problem at hand. Where can one find this software or did you code it yourself?
